

Amazing 5* hotel! First time I stayed there in 2015, and in 2025 it still holds. The rooms and the interiors are actually better than Four Seasons at the Bosphorus and Ciragan Palace Kempinski where I also stayed recently. The service is almost as good as Four Seasons (!) and beats Kempinski by a mile. Both restaurants (Ist Too and Shang Palace) are great. The indoor pool and the spa area are also up to the highest standard. Honestly, unless you are willing to pay 2x for one of the few “elite” Bosphorus hotels, Shangri-La is an obvious choice.

I liked everything. It was a cheapest room but I think it was the best. Huge 50m2 room with quiet garden view, provider to us the rest we needed after long walks. Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stop right next to hotel is huge plus. I love the breakfast, I loved the rooms service. There was nothing I can complain about.

The view from the property was fabulous. We were in room 336 and the view of the Bosphorus was gorgeous.

A Perfect Stay – Truly One of the Best Hotels in Istanbul From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was warmly greeted by Furkan, who was both professional and incredibly knowledgeable. The first impression was already excellent, and it only got better. My room was exceptionally spacious and spotlessly clean—the carpets looked as if they had been laid just yesterday. Every detail had clearly been taken care of. At dinner, the food was outstanding and well-priced, and every member of the restaurant team was attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Yusuf, Yazgı, and Nurgül, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Our housekeeping lady was also fantastic—extremely polite and flexible, making our stay even more comfortable. The facilities are excellent, and the location couldn’t be better—close to everywhere, vibrant surroundings, and easy access to key spots in the city. Personally, I don’t think there’s a better hotel in Istanbul. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable experience.

The hotel is beautiful and very stylish . The location is amazing; just by the Bosphorus. The staff working at the reception/ SPA/ concierge / lounge and by the entrance was FIRST CLASS!! We loved our mornings and afternoons at the Lounge with excellent service!!! We enjoyed the pool ( very good size) very much. The sauna / spa area is amazing and hammam was fantastic! Cleaning of the room- excellent!!! We are also at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel- delicious with a super polite staff!

Very clean and quiet room. Lovely shower and goodies in the bathroom. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The door man was lovely. Housekeeping lady was brilliant even left little towels by the bed side so our feet don’t touch the carpet when we step out of the bed. Great stay. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul. The hotel was exceptionally clean, very well organized, and the entire staff was simply outstanding. Housekeeping kept our room spotless every day, and their attention to detail truly stood out. On my birthday, the hotel surprised me with a beautiful cake in the room, balloons, and a handwritten card with heartfelt congratulations — a truly thoughtful and memorable gesture. I would especially like to highlight Yagiz Ucal ( Concierge ) and Serkan, who were our main points of contact during the stay. They went above and beyond — helping us with everything from concert tickets to organizing an electric wheelchair. Always with a smile, always kind and attentive — their support was exceptional and made our experience even more special. This is a solid 9 out of 10 review from us. The only area where the hotel didn’t quite meet the full 10 mark was the dining. Both restaurants are beautifully presented and the service is impeccable, but the food, unfortunately, did not match the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. The Chinese restaurant looked stunning and service was flawless, but the dishes lacked authentic flavor. The restaurant upstairs, which offers Turkish, Asian, and international cuisine, was again very well run, but the taste of the food didn’t live up to the quality expected in a hotel of this class.
